Technology in Politics Beginners Course
The Honolulu County Executive Committee is going to be hosting a "tech beginners course" training session this Saturday, focused on using Goggle, Facebook and other forms of new media to help organize a district or campaign. Using technology in politics today is no longer an option so if you are currently not using these programs or want to learn more about their capabilities, this session is for you. We will start with the basics so even if you may be "tech challenged" dont be afraid to come.
The session will be from 6-8pm this Saturday May 7, at the GOP HQ.
The first session will cover several Google tools (Gmail, Calendar, Groups and Docs) and how they can be used in a political organization. If you do not have a Google account, we will help you sign up for one and get started. The second session will cover social media and how it can be used to identify like minded people to grow your team and communicate both with those inside and outside your organization. Attendees are encouraged to bring a laptop to follow along, this will be a hands on session.
